My experience at the men's retreat was a beautiful spiritual event that I have ever had. The church Heirway sponsored the whole event and Teen Challenge Georgia International had the opportunity to join in the spiritual blessings. The theme was focus on the finish and to me that means dedication and obedient to serve God. Matthew 22:14 says for many are called, but few are chosen. I really enjoyed all the great speakers who talked about doing God's will and making spiritual impact on your life and helping somebody else with theirs. There were other men from different cities.

I really thought I had everything under control before I came to Teen Challenge Georgia International. I maintained a steady job. I had good friends. I always had a home and a vehicle, so I thought I was doing pretty well. But slowly, my life started going down hill. I started drinking before work. I had to get high all of the time which consumed all of my money. Suddenly, I realized that my life was going in circles. That only made matters worse. I decided to pursue music as a career so I could say I did something with my life. Within three years, I was living out my dream.

My name is Tommy Logan III and I am a part of a life saving program called Teen Challenge Georgia International. God directed me here through circumstances in my life and disappointments. Drugs were my down fall but through Teen Challenge Georgia International, God has redeemed me from death. On March 28th, 2004, I was baptized at a church called Hope and Life. I was dipped into water and lifted up. That to me represented dying of my old life and coming up as a new man. This was a great experience for me.
